Shirley Sloan, LCSW is an accomplished motivational lecturer and presenter. Shirley Sloan is an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who in 2004 founded, owns and operates CrossRoads Resolutions, Inc. CrossRoads Resolutions is an innovative psychotherapy practice that specializes in children and family issues. She brings her Christian values, genuine commitment, practical experience, and a holistic approach to her therapeutic work with children, families, individuals and groups.
Shirley lived and worked in Latin America for several years as a missionary assistant, taught school, trained church leadership in evangelism and children’s work. She assisted with church constructions and worked with visiting American medical and other teams. She also had a music ministry and wrote articles for a Christian publication while abroad. Shirley is a member of New Life Assembly of God in Lehigh Acres, John Baschieri, Senior Pastor.

She is a former Toastmasters member and is a skilled speaker presenting before large and small groups at conferences, workshops, churches, community meetings, etc. she has been an adjunct professor at Florida Gulf Coast University.
Shirley served a term as president of the Immokalee Inter-Agency Council, as a Collier County Water and Sewer Commissioner for four years, as well as played a vital role on other community initiatives e.g. Immokalee Weed & Seed, Naples Alliance for Children, Collier County Shelter for Abused Women Advisory Committee (Immokalee), Healthy Families Advisory Committee (Immokalee), Sharing The Committee (Collier County). She is also a Red Cross volunteer.
